⁵⁴ Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue,^(A) and they were amazed.^(B) “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked.

²⁷ The people were all so amazed^(A) that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.”
